This is the first firmware update available since the SKY-SDR began shipping to customers in late 2016.

This is not a mandatory update, but it is strongly recommended to update your radio.  See the list of changes (below).

This update improves the radio's performance and ease of use, and also fixes a sporatic bug causing unwanted changes to the radio's specific personality settings.

CHANGES implemented with Update V.1.02:

IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Better Filtering on all bands.
2. Better Filter Shape Factor on Receive.
3. Lower Noise Floor, most aparent above 21 MHz.
4. Improved Unwanted Sideband Rejection.
5. Improved Carrier Suppression on SSB.
6. Increased modulation depth on AM.
7. New deviation algorithms on FM, based on filter width and deviation percentage.
8. Improved balance of audio (both RX and TX) on DIGI modes.
9. Reduced Bandscope Gain (lower start level) for better Visual Display.

BUG FIX:

• Fixed sparatic reset of the radio's personality settings.
