CLEANING  THE  VFO  ENCODER

Occasionally it may be necessary to clean the encoder.

Please follow this simple procedure:

• Turn OFF the radio.

• PUSH in the tuning knob (VFO) and while keeping is pushed in, rotate the encoder at least one full turn to the left; then rotate it one full turn to the right.

• REPEAT this procedure 5 times.
