This is the first firmware update available since the SKY-SDR began shipping to customers in late 2016.
This is not a mandatory update, but it is strongly recommended to update your radio. See the list of changes (below).
This update improves the radio's performance and ease of use, and also fixes a sporatic bug causing unwanted changes to the radio's specific personality
settings.

IMPROVEMENTS:
- Better Filtering on all bands.
- Better Filter Shape Factor on Receive.
- Lower Noise Floor, most aparent above 21 MHz.
- Improved Unwanted Sideband Rejection.
- Improved Carrier Suppression on SSB.
- Increased modulation depth on AM.
- New deviation algorithms on FM, based on filter width and deviation percentage.
- Improved balance of audio (both RX and TX) on DIGI modes.
- Reduced Bandscope Gain (lower start level) for better Visual Display.
BUG FIX:
- Fixed sparatic reset of the radio's personality settings.
