807-L / with PolyStealth-22 Wire
This is our 3rd type of wire to be used in lightweight antennas, and it appears we have finally found the optimum wire for these antennas.
We call the wire PS-22 (for short). It is AWG-22 Litz wire, consisting of seven thin strands of copper-weld (copper-plated steel) wire, with a Polyethylene jacket. This enables a breaking strength of 70 lbs. while maintaining the electrical properties of copper.

The drawing on the right shows the details of the installation of the half-size 807-L when I took the SWR measurements.
The RMU and outer ca. 20m of wire are removed, rendering it a 40m OCFD.
The analyzer is controlled by my Cell Phone via BlueTooth.
